GOLDSMITH GUITARS
Hey, I'm Jack! I'm a 20 year old student teaching from in Nunawading. I have been playing guitar for 10 years, starting in grade 2 at primary school. I have also learned the double bass and bass guitar at secondary school, where I played in 3 ensembles. I have performed at many notable events, including the Generations in Jazz festival at Mount Gambier and have also opened for Daryl Braithwaite.
I have been teaching since 2020, with now over 1000 lessons experience in teaching beginners how to master the guitar. I am qualified with a Police Check as well as a Working With Children's Check.
My goal is for my students to develop a love and passion for music just as I have. Playing guitar and enjoying music shouldn't be a chore, but something the student is willing and eager to do and work on to improve their skills and knowledge.
I believe enjoying what you are doing is the most valuable asset to learning. I want my students to enjoy playing the guitar and for them to continue to learn and expand their knowledge. My principle is that students should not practise everyday, but play their instrument everyday. I teach electric and acoustic guitar over a variety of genres, allowing flexibility and a range of learning opportunities.
